On 2 September 2024, JSC Bank CenterCredit was assigned a score of 61/100 in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (S&P Global CSA), which is the best result among second-tier banks in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Bank received 65 points for the Environmental Dimension (E), 56 points for the Social Dimension (S) and 63 points for the Governance & Economic Dimension (G).

In the context of its ranking across the global banking industry, Bank CenterCredit is ranked in the Top 10% (91st percentile) among banks from around the world participating in the S&P Global CSA in terms of the 2023 financial results (BNK - Banks sector).

Bank CenterCredit’s score of 61 coupled with the 91st percentile demonstrates the Bank’s commitment to sustainability practices, which is particularly important given the growing focus of the government, investors and other stakeholders on the ESG profile of financial institutions, and emphasizes its leadership compared to global peers in the banking sector.

The S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment is an annual evaluation of companies’ sustainability practices conducted by S&P Global, in which companies are rated on a scale from 0 to 100, where 100 is the best score. The S&P Global CSA is recognized as one of the most sought-after, useful and high-quality ESG assessments by many investors and companies according to the Rate the Raters 2023 Report by The Sustainability Institute by ERM.
